Come stay in the heart of Moteriggioni, a magnificent 12th century village located between Firenze and Siena, in comfortable and welcoming rooms of a 7th century “palazzo” suitable for travelers from around the world.
The “palazzo”, the tallest in the village, offers unique views of the surrounding towers, hills and countryside from each room. Facing the piazza, center of the tranquil village life, other than the church and secret gardens, visitors will find excellent restaurants to savor Tuscan cuisine, local artisan ateliers and wine shops.
Do not miss the the sunset hours when the village magically turns golden and pink! We will be waiting with a tasting of wine produced by the Griccioli family vineyards. A small welcome gift for our guests!
Within the walls of an ancient paradise, Rooms and Wine is born.
The “palazzo” is three stories with no elevator. The seven rooms are found on the top two floors, each with its own entrance, modern bathroom, TV, WiFi and, in some cases, air conditioning. The rooms are furnished with family heirlooms and items collected during the owners travels. This makes each room welcoming and organized yet with its own unique character. Each bathroom has been recently remodeled and is equipped with hair dryer, soap, shampoo and towels.

The bed and breakfast was started during the Covid19 epidemic. Due to this coincidence we have partnered with AllCleansanex, a company specializing sanitation and hygienic solutions for hospitality. They are highly regarded and rigorously documented.
More over between guests each room receives an ozone treatment.
The Griccioli Family has been hosting travelers on their land around Siena for over 50 years, during which they acquired vast experience which is applied to this latest bed and breakfast. You will always find a family member at your disposal between the reception and the wine shop, ready to help make your stay even more enjoyable, according to each guests tastes. For those who want to experience the region as locals we are happy to share the secrets of this land.
