So here are some directions.
Monteriggioni is three minutes from the Siena-Firenze Superstrada, 15 minutes from Siena Stazione and 30 minutes from Firenze S. Maria Novella (central station). Monteriggioni is also connected by public transport from Siena and Firenze.
WHAT TO DO
Adventure, relax or pleasure?
Probably all three! Search the hills, or “colline” as locals call them, for treasures of art and history, possibly by bike or motorcycle. Take a long walk along Via Francigena through the Tuscan country side.
